The Revolution's Promise is a collection of testimonies from artists across Palestine celebrating cultural resistance and hope

The Revolutions Promise is a documentary performance highlighting censorship and attacks on palestinian artists.

The main story is about the rise of The Freedom Theatre of Jenin in the aftermath of the second intifada. Flanked by stories from Gaza, Jerusalem and 48.

Open Stage

The Revolutions Promise

On Thursday night the 31st of July we will host an open stage session where a number of groups will show pieces of their upcoming and/or ongoing projects. The open stage session starts right after the performance, around 21:30. All artists gets approximately 20 minutes to entice and inspire the crowd.

Poets like the national poets Mahmoud Darwish and the poet Dareen Tatour that is presented in the play

The Revolution's Promise by Zoe Lafferty is a collection of testimonies from artists across Palestine celebrating cultural resistance and hope.

The Revolutions Promise is a documentary performance highlighting censorship and attacks on palestinian artists. In this version all these artists are represented by three Norwegian actors.
