Felicia

This is a story from the woods.
A story of animals—
and Felicia.
She arrives, settles on the edge,
where the trees thin and the whispers thicken.
The animals are worried.
She’s ugly—
She’s dirty—
Wicked witch!
Stealing joy with her strange hands,
tilting the forest’s balance.
Something must be done. Now.
All the animals agree.
... Or do they?
This is the story of a problem—
a spark struck from fear, blown into flame.
But watch:
a conflict bends,
becomes a bridge.
What if the problem
was never the problem at all?
